The Graduate Program in History at the Federal University of Ceará (PPGH-UFC) offers scholarships for the Master’s and Doctoral programs, with the aim of ensuring appropriate conditions for students’ dedication to academic activities and the development of their research.
📌 Scholarship Awarding
Scholarships are allocated in accordance with the criteria established in the PPGH Scholarship Call for Applications, in compliance with the regulations of the funding agencies (CAPES, CNPq, FUNCAP, among others) and subject to the availability of quotas in each academic period.
📋 General Criteria
Among the criteria usually considered in the process of awarding and maintaining scholarships are: socioeconomic status; admission through affirmative action policies; ranking in the program’s admission selection process; dedication to course activities; satisfactory academic performance; compliance with the program’s official deadlines; and fulfillment of the requirements set by the funding agencies and the PPGH internal regulations.

Scholarship calls are published annually by the PPGH Coordination and made available on this website. They include: eligibility requirements; required documentation; selection and ranking criteria; and rules for implementation, renewal, and cancellation (according to the funding agency).

The maintenance of the scholarship is conditional upon compliance with the academic obligations established in the Program’s regulations and in the specific call for applications, including regular enrollment, satisfactory academic progress, and submission of reports when required.
