The Graduate Program in History (PPGH-UFC) announces a call for applications for the selection of two (2) Sandwich Doctoral Scholarships, to be implemented in 2026, under the scope of the FUNCAP Internationalization Call No. 08/2023.

The initiative aims to strengthen the internationalization of the PPGH by encouraging the formation of international research networks, promoting academic mobility, and expanding the participation of our doctoral students in research activities abroad.

The scholarship will have a maximum duration of six (6) months and is intended for doctoral candidates seeking theoretical deepening, data collection or processing, or the development of the experimental component of their dissertations at renowned foreign institutions.

Application period: from January 29 to March 8, 2026, via the specific form and email indicated in the Call.
Final results: March 23, 2026.
Start of implementation/tenure: between April and July 2026.

Approved candidates will receive a monthly stipend and additional allowances (travel, installation, and health insurance), in accordance with CAPES scholarship value tables.
