Maternity Leave
In order to take maternity leave for Christmas or adoption, the student must send the birth certificate in pdf format to the Coordination Office (email pghist@ufc.br). If the student has already completed most of the semester and agrees with the subject teacher to end the semester before the official end date, an authorisation signed by the subject teacher justifying the acceptance will be required, without prejudice to the subjects taken.
The 6-month suspension must be requested by submitting a file to the CPSE, which will organise an examination. Once the veracity of the request has been verified, the withdrawal will appear on the transcript and the 6-month extension will be added to the final deadline.
The 4-month cancellation is made directly with the PRPPG, which will also appear on the transcript and the 4-month extension will be added to the final deadline.
