Definition
In accordance with the second and third paragraphs of RESOLUTION No. 17/CEPE, DATE DECEMBER 4, 2015, approving the General Norms of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Programmes of the Federal University of Ceará:
2. Special students are those students from Stricto Sensu Graduate Programs of other institutions who, at the discretion of the Program Coordinator and after hearing the professor in charge of the curricular component, are accepted to take the curricular components offered by the programs, respecting the limit of eight (8) credits for the Master’s degree and sixteen (16) credits for the Doctoral degree;
3. Exceptionally, according to the criteria established in the internal regulations of each programme, active students of UFC undergraduate courses may attend curricular components as special students, respecting the limit of eight (8) credits for the Master’s course;
Enrolment period:
Special student enrolment must respect the enrolment period listed in the University Calendar at https://www.ufc.br/ in the menu on the right.
To do so, you must express your interest by sending an e-mail to the programme secretariat (pghist@ufc.br) so that it can check if there is a place available in the course; if so, the interested party will send the necessary documents.
Documents required:
Proof of enrolment at the institution with which the student is affiliated;
Academic transcript;
Letter, dated and signed by the student, addressed to the course coordinator, justifying the interest in the subject;
Personal data for enrolment in SIGAA
PPGH student who has taken a course in another programme:
Send a transcript and the syllabus of the course attended to the Secretariat’s e-mail address, with the heading “Use of credits”.
A procedure will be opened for the credits to be added to the transcript.
