This line of research generates knowledge about cultural practices shaped by social relations. It focuses on individuals’ experiences as a field of conflict and tension, marked by various power tactics and strategies. Studying Culture and Power involves an exploration of the historicity of institutions, organizations, values, customs, beliefs, norms, expectations, traditions, ideas, concepts, ideals, and sensitivities that manifest in the changes and continuities of social life.
